To create a living museum dedicated to the preservation of the cultural and ethnical heritage of southeastern South Dakota.

A living history museum featuring over 15 historic structures to teach the future about the past. 

History of MPHA

The Menno Pioneer Heritage Association (MPHA) is a membership-based organization incorporated on April 24, 1995. In July, they purchased 30 acres from Calvin and Carol Mettler north of Menno.

In 1998, this acreage was officially named 

Pioneer Acres”.
